ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATORS (ERVs)

DRI Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV)... Fresh Air solution from the Airgineers

DRI Energy Recovery Ventilators are equipped with EcoFresh Heat Recovery Wheels (HRW); capable of recovering more than upto 75% of each sensible and latent energy from the stale exhaust air and transferring it to the fresh outside air. The rotating wheel transfers the sensible and latent energy between the counter flowing exhaust and supply air and in the process preconditions (cool/ heat/ dehumidify/ humidify) the fresh air.

The EcoFresh rotor HRW is the first choice of OEMs in N.America, Japan and Europe.

The DRI ERV helps to meet ASHRAE 62 and other international standards specified ventilation rates without increasing the air conditioning tonnage, saving capital and operating costs considerably.

Available in five models, DRI ERVs address the basic requirements of a commercial energy recovery ventilator including -

    (Making it the ideal choice in tropical regions as India)
  • No cross contamination - Cross contamination between air streams limited to an absolute minimum with molecular sieve 3Å* (EcoSorb 300) coated energy recovery wheels.

How does it work?

The heart of the Energy Recovery Ventilator is the EcoFresh desiccant coated energy recovery wheel, which slowly rotates between its two sections. In one section, the stale, conditioned air is passed through the wheel, and exhausted in the atmosphere. During this process, the wheel absorbs sensible and latent energy from the conditioned air, which is used to condition (cool / heat) the incoming Fresh Air in the other section, during the second half of its rotation cycle. Thus, you can have more Fresh Air at lower energy costs inside your conditioned space.
